In simple words, if any of the functionality of the Amazon Fire Stick is avoiding to work sometimes, but not always, then that simply means that you're facing the issue like the Fire Stick frozen. How do I unfreeze Amazon Fire Stick?

Here are the steps to unfreeze it:
  1. Restart device: The first thing you require to do when you’re Amazon Fire Stick freezes is to restart your device. Simply unplug everything and wait a minimum of 30 seconds to confirm the device is completely turned off. Plug everything back and start your device.
  2. Clear Cache and data
To clear cache & data
  • Go to Settings
  • Click on Apps
  • Click on Manage All Applications
  • Locate the troublesome application
  • Click Clear Cache & Data
  • Reboot the application
  • Switch USB port
There's a possibility that the USB port you're using the Fire Stick services on is faulty. Try switching to a different USB port on your TV. Remember the USB port you were using and switch to the adjacent port on your TV.

     3. Connect to TV

If the Fire Stick doesn’t launch even after 10 minutes, switch ports and start again. If you're using Fire TV, try switching to a high-speed HDMI cable.
